Does it replace the Dock?
No — your Dock stays exactly where it is. These are extra bars for the other edges.
Which permissions does it need?
None out of the ordinary. No Accessibility access, no Screen Recording. Folders and files you drop in are remembered with standard macOS security-scoped bookmarks.
Does it run on Intel Macs?
Yes — Apple silicon and Intel, natively, on macOS 14 or later.
How do updates work?
In-app, via Sparkle. The update check fetches a version feed and sends no personal data.
